Last night I had a dream that felt so real, I woke up heart pounding and perspiring all over the sheets. I was at my mother's house with my sisters and for some reason in the dream my children, nieces, and nephews were my siblings as well. My Mother was leaving out for a little and stated that we had better made sure that the kids got to school on time. Me and my sisters were in the house trying to find clothes for the children to wear to ship them off for school. As I was speaking to my older sisters Tamitra and Gloria I noticed a building on fire in the far distance. I pointed out the building to them which was a building located in the downtown area but we could see its massive height from our North Philadelphian backroom window.
Tamitra and Gloria were in awe, "oh my God I hope no one is in that building". Just as we got comfortable on our spots on the bed to watch the excitement we could see the ladders of the firemen reaching the towering heights with water hoses in hand. As soon as the rushing water began to douse the fire we could see the gigantic building tilting, "it's going to fall!!" yelled one of the children who had came into the room while we weren't looking. "I sure am glad we are no where near this" I said, and just as the last word left my lips we all gazed while the building tilted and began to tumble down. This building was so huge, to our surprise the ashes had covered our glass. see-through roof along with debris. We were so afraid that we could not move, and just then we remembered that our mother had left the house! Before our eyes could blink the house had transformed into a van-like vehicle. We then began to travel towards the debris in search of her. There were dead bodies all around and ashes clothed the ground were a few inches high! The scene was one from September 11, 2001 when the twin towers fell. We found our mother walking with an old coat on in early Fall weather, her glasses were covered with ashes. She boarded the van and I woke up.
